On Tuesday morning, February 26th, Council Assistant Morris e-mailed all Council Members a memo relating to several requests that the Council President had recently received. All of them were requesting face time for discussion at a work session. That same memo is attached and is the basis of for our discussion on "Agenda Priorities".
Bottom line -- work sessions do not provide adequate time to discuss all requests that may be brought forward. Therefore, the Council President is requesting a few minutes to determine which, if any, of the submitted items are deserving of greater attention. If you feel strongly about an issue, you should come prepared to clearly and concisely make your case. The Council may also want to discuss the possible use of the "Memorandum" section on the agendas.
